Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all purchases from Just Turf It, a division of Instant Green Limited (“we”, “our”, “us”). By placing an order with us, you agree to these Terms.

1. Orders & Acceptance

1.1 All quotes are valid for 14 days from the date of issue unless stated otherwise.
1.2 An order is only confirmed once we have received your acceptance and (where required) a deposit payment.
1.3 We reserve the right to decline any order at our discretion.

2. Pricing & Payment

2.1 All prices are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and exclude GST unless otherwise stated.
2.2 Payment terms are full payment prior to delivery, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
2.3 We accept payment by bank transfer or other methods as advised.
2.4 Late payments may incur interest at 2% per month and recovery costs.

3. Delivery & Risk

3.1 Turf is a perishable product. Delivery times will be confirmed prior to dispatch.
3.2 Risk in the turf passes to you upon delivery to your site.
3.3 We are not responsible for delays caused by events beyond our control, including weather conditions.
3.4 Delivery does not include installation unless arranged separately.

4. Turf Quality & Installation

4.1 We take every care to supply turf in optimal condition at the time of dispatch.
4.2 Turf must be laid immediately upon delivery to ensure quality.
4.3 We are not liable for deterioration caused by delays in laying, inadequate site preparation, watering, or maintenance.
4.4 Turf is a natural product and variations in colour, density, and texture may occur.

5. Warranty & Limitations

5.1 We warrant that turf supplied is of merchantable quality at the time of delivery.
5.2 No warranty applies to turf after delivery due to its perishable nature and the impact of factors outside our control.
5.3 We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss.

6. Returns & Claims

6.1 Due to the perishable nature of turf, returns are not accepted.
6.2 Any concerns about the condition of turf must be raised within 12 hours of delivery.
6.3 Photographic evidence may be required to assess claims.

7. Cancellations

7.1 Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled delivery date.
7.2 Orders cancelled after turf has been cut may be charged in full.

8. Site Access & Safety

8.1 You must ensure safe and clear access for delivery vehicles.
8.2 We are not liable for any damage to property caused by following your delivery instructions.

9. Governing Law

9.1 These Terms are governed by New Zealand law.
9.2 Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.
